John Shepherd - Isle of Wight Carpenter

John Shepherd has been a carpenter for 30 years and for 16 years based here on the Isle of Wight. As an Isle of Wight Carpenter his work is varied from fitting a kitchen, making bespoke furniture to fit that awkward alcove or out in the elements laying a decking or putting up a fence. He works in all types of wood from Oak, Ash and Beech to Mahogany, Pine and MDF.

With John's great experience of the building trade he has built up a team of trusted craftsmen who work together in partnership. This enables John to take on large jobs where several skilled carpenters are needed or contracts that require other trades such as plumbers, electricians, bricklayers etc. Most of John's work is on the island but he has undertaken large contracts throughout the UK.

John has a portfolio of property maintenance clients who have properties on the Isle of Wight that need local craftsmen to sort any maintenance issues, this side of his business has grown over the past two years and he is now looking to expand this further.
